The Bazarevitsch Family at Rosewood Miramar Beach
As I reflect on my year serving as President of AIR CRE, I do so with a deep sense of gratitude and pride—for the organization, for its leadership, and for the Members who continue to define what this community stands for.
When I stepped into this role nearly a year ago, Southern California was facing extraordinary challenges due to the Palisades and Eaton fires. In the months that followed, what stood out most to me was not only the resilience of our industry, but the way our community showed up for one another. AIR CRE continues to demonstrate that commercial real estate transcends property types, specialties, firms, and brands. It is, at its core, a community built by brokers, for everyone.
Being part of AIR CRE has long been infused into my personal philosophy of how to conduct myself—both professionally and personally. Serving as President during this chapter has reinforced just how special and impactful this organization truly is.
Elevating the Quality of What We Deliver
Throughout 2025, we remained focused on one guiding principle: maintaining—and elevating—the quality of everything AIR CRE delivers. Whether through research, technology, education, or events, our goal has been consistent execution at the highest level.
One of the most significant milestones this year was the completion of the full AIR CRE Contracts suite across all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Expanding the reach of AIR CRE Contracts nationally marks a defining moment in the organization’s history and reinforces our long-standing commitment to delivering practical, high-quality tools that support the brokerage community at scale. This achievement would not have been possible without the leadership of Executive Director Tim Hayes and COO, Joy Pomeroy, who worked together to bring this powerful new resource to our Members.
“Completing the AIR CRE Contracts suite nationwide was a major accomplishment and positions the organization exceptionally well for continued relevance and impact,” said Tim. “It reflects years of thoughtful investment in tools that help brokers work more efficiently and with greater confidence—no matter the market.”
In parallel, under the direction of Monique Ebel, AIR CRE’s Director of Research, we continued to strengthen the Research & Data platform. Our partnership with Moody’s has proven to be a powerful asset, enhancing both the depth and credibility of our research offerings. Simply put, the quality of AIR CRE research has never been stronger.
AIR CRE>Next: A Program That Has Come Into Its Own
In its fourth year, the AIR CRE>Next program reached a new level of maturity in 2025. With more than 15 touchpoints throughout the year—including executive lunches, networking events, and two full Day of Learning programs—the program has become a standout in the industry for new-to-the-business brokers.
The caliber of speakers, the depth of programming, and the engagement from both participants and sponsoring firms speak volumes about the program’s value. >Next is no longer just a promising initiative—it is a proven platform for developing the next generation of industry leaders. Past president and long-time member, Jeff Puffer, the CEO of Delphi Business Properties, deserves special recognition for having the foresight to suggest the creation of AIR CRE’s >Next program which launched in 2021.
Leadership, Board Engagement, and Community
One of the most rewarding aspects of my term has been witnessing the level of engagement across AIR CRE’s leadership and Board. The Board represents the top tier of professionals in our industry—balanced, inclusive, and reflective of the full spectrum of commercial real estate across Southern California. Seeing that participation firsthand, at events and programs throughout the year, has been truly energizing.
We also launched a new quarterly President’s Message this year, creating an additional channel for direct communication with Members. That connection—open, consistent, and transparent—has been incredibly meaningful to me and something I hope continues well into the future.
Events That Reflect Who We Are
AIR CRE events remain a cornerstone of our organization, and 2025 was no exception. From educational programming to networking experiences, the emphasis was on thoughtful execution and meaningful connection.
The AIR CRE Golf Tournament once again set the standard for the industry, benefitting from strategic refinements that enhanced the overall experience. New and returning favorites—such as the Lawn Bowling event and Contracts Strategy Seminars—reinforced what our Members value most: high-quality content, strong participation, and a sense of camaraderie that feels authentic.
In Closing
AIR CRE continues to gain traction—not necessarily through size, but through the quality, reach, and relevance of what it delivers to the commercial real estate community. This is an organization built to support professionals across firms, specialties, and every stage of a career.
As I conclude my term as President, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve during such a meaningful period for AIR CRE. Thank you to the Board, the leadership team, the staff, and—most importantly—our Members for your trust, engagement, and commitment to this community.
As we close out the year and look ahead, I encourage everyone to stay involved—or to get involved. Whether you are twelve months into your career or twenty-five years in, you are truly welcome here.
Warm regards,

Natalie Bazarevitsch
President/Executive Chair, AIR CRE
