Monique Ebel is AIR CRE’s Director of Research, overseeing the organization’s research team, including recruiting, training, and establishing systems and standards. She joined AIR CRE in 2001 and has been instrumental in expanding the reach and accuracy of its research operations.

As Director of Research, Monique develops and presents quarterly market analytics for AIR CRE’s Town Halls on Research Insights. She works closely with Executive Director Tim Hayes and the Advisory Board to verify and validate data, ensuring the integrity of AIR CRE’s Research & Listings platform. She also leads the development of verification and audit processes and manages AIR CRE’s relationship with Moody’s, the platform supporting the team’s data presentation.

Monique has played a key role in expanding AIR CRE’s research footprint in Orange County and the Inland Empire, setting new industry standards for data quality and analysis. She spearheaded the development of AIR CRE’s property data system, now a cornerstone of Southern California’s commercial real estate market. Today, she manages research operations for Southern California, leading a team of more than 50 research professionals.

She began her career in 1994 at CBRE (then CB Commercial), specializing in industrial, office, and retail research and analytics coordination. She later served as Operations Manager at Smith Guide, a leading LA Metro data provider, for three years before joining AIR CRE.

Outside of work, Monique enjoys cycling, strength training, and stage makeup, and loves spending time with her three children, Joseph, Rosie, and Ethan. She resides in Orange, California.
