Joy Pomeroy is currently the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the AIR CRE and has held this position since 2001. As its COO, Joy directs the day-to-day operations of the association and is responsible for its financial operations, as well as personnel management and human resources.

Joy oversees the various educational programs and networking activities of AIR CRE, including the Annual Market Trends and Forecast, which is regarded as the premier industry event, and the association’s Annual Golf Tournament. Further, she is responsible for all aspects of AIR CRE’s popular and widely-accepted standard contracts and forms, as well as administering its Forms Seminar Series. Additionally, Joy manages and handles the association’s membership services, including its Arbitration Services.

After majoring in Accounting and graduating from the University of the East, Philippines with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Business Administration, she gained valuable experience in the retail industry working for Carpet Town, Inc., first as a staff accountant, followed by quick promotions to positions with increasing responsibilities in human resources and operations management.   Her education and experience has allowed her to successfully increase her responsibilities to match all of the association’s growth and changes.
Besides her dedication and achievements at AIR CRE, Joy shows a continuing commitment to the real estate industry by supporting the CREW LA (Commercial Real Estate for Women – Los Angeles) where she served as VP of Communications from 2011-2014. She also supports Operation Gratitude by volunteering time to send packages to active military personnel.

Joy enjoys travelling, and in her free time, likes to read and watch live theater.
